WITH A LITTLE LOVE FROM FRIENDS...

YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO EVERYTHING BUT... "THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO"!

Riffing off the classic tale that teaches we can overcome obstacles with the mantra: I think I can, “The Little Engine That Could… NOT” explores the power of hope, love, and reinvention following the frustration of failure, neglect, and heartbreaking deceit.

INTRODUCING

Little Engine 1285

If you grew up on the Monterey Peninsula, you have probably visited and played at the Dennis the Menace park, home to Engine 1285.

This little engine is the inspiration for "The Little Train That Could... NOT" coming soon.

THE WORLD IS WAITING FOR...

"The Little Engine That Could... NOT" and all the fun that goes with it.

With this book, you’ll meet:

  • Tenacity and persistence
  • Failure and utter defeat
  • The unconditional love of those happy to help

Reinvention and renewed self-worth are in store for young and old readers alike.

"Simply a delight!"

HEY, CARRIE HERE!

Carrie Glenn leads the Young Authors and Creative Writing clubs at Monte Vista Elementary School in beautiful Monterey, CA.

She is seeking admission into Harvard Extension’s Liberal Arts Creative Writing Program, where her essay: “Sound the Rebel Yell: Stopping the Big Take in Jason Reynolds’ ‘The African-American Special’” is now being used by author Dr. Janet Sylvester, Harvard Extension Professor, as an example of an excellent essay.

Carrie is the editor of the Diana Strain series (by Joshua Converse) and several unpublished children’s plays penned by her mommy (no longer with us).

Growing up in Steinbeck Country, Carrie was born with a pencil in hand and a creative mind that gives her story after story.

She has ghostwritten for 40 authors, nearly a dozen are self-published on Amazon and is EXCITED to add her voice to her pages as well.
