Proposed schedule of payments and work:
PLEASE NOTE. SAMPLE ONLY! This schedule is based on old pricing and dates. It must be revised.
However, once we finalize the schedule, should you experience any calendar changes in your writing, publishing, or launch goals, the payments will stay on schedule for a number of reasons including:
- I'm clearing my schedule to focus on our project, so even if your calendar changes, I've still cleared the schedule on my end.
- This payment plan creates strong motivation to keep our project on track and continuing forward.
- Higher upfront payments allow us to do the heavy lifting so that we can lay the foundation.
Schedule of payments and work:
- May 17-21 $3,500 NON-refundable deposit to begin the project: Once we start, we will finalize all project dates and parameters. I clear my schedule and reduce client intake efforts to focus on our project. You will send me your father's book.
- May 24 $3,500 (2nd half of deposit): The translation process begins; we work together to determine what we are adding; solidify the outline.
- June 24 $5,000: Continue translation and start writing the additional content.
- July 24 $5,000: Edit, ghostwrite, and shape all chapters into finished works.
- August 1 $3,000: Continue to edit, ghostwrite, and shape all chapters into finished works, then up to 3 rounds of revisions.
- After final revisions, we will start the final editing process. I will guide you through the best editing cycle! This takes 1-3 months, depending on how long you wish to spend dedicating to the book's high-quality standards.
- After the final edits, we can decide to move forward with self-publishing or seeking out an agent for traditional publishing. You can hire me to continue helping you, as I have helped several authors self-publish. Or, you can go it alone. Either way, you'll have your book ready to start the publishing process... Congratulations!
